Supplements: Practitioner - Grade, Over The Counter (OTC), and Private Label.

Which is better for you?

When it comes to supplements, there are three main types: Practitioner-Grade, Over The Counter (OTC), and Private Label. So which one is the best for you? Let's take a closer look at each type.

Supplements 101

Practitioner-Grade supplements are those that can only be obtained through a healthcare Practitioner. They are generally more expensive than OTC supplements, but they also tend to be of higher quality. One of reasons that Practitioner-Grade supplements are so effective is that they are free of fillers, binders, and artificial components that may be found in many over-the-counter products. The source of the nutrients is also tested by a third party to assure purity and potency. Generally they ‘re more powerful and bioavailable, which means your body can absorb and use them better. Practitioner- Grade supplements are held to a higher standard than OTC ones. These supplements are also customized to meet your specific needs and they can meet the demands of your unique genetic makeup.

OTC supplements are those that can be purchased without a prescription. They are typically less costly than Practitioner-grade formulations, but they may not be as effective. OTC supplements are also not customized to meet your specific needs.

Private Label supplements are those that have been manufactured by a supplement company and then sold under a different firm's brand or name. However, unless they are produced by a reputable supplement company the quality can be questionable.

What is the best supplement for you?

So, which type of supplement is right for you? If you are looking for the highest quality supplement that is customized to meet your personalized needs, then Practitioner-Grade is the way to go. However, if you are on a budget, OTC supplements may be a good option. It's vital that you do your homework to ensure you're receiving a good product.

Generally speaking, Practitioner-Grade supplements are the best option for those looking to maintain and improve their health. They are more expensive, but they are also more effective and tailored to your individual needs. OTC supplements can be a good option for those on a budget, but they may not be as effective. Private Label supplements can be a good option, but the quality can vary greatly. Invest in a product that is well-made and reputable. Just double-check to make sure you're buying a quality supplement.
